  • I grew up on the Texas-Lousiana border and moved to north Idaho about 12 years ago. My mother and sister have since followed and we have spent years talking about how much we miss cajun cooking...nothing up here can even come close! This year I came across your website and we were elated! Not only did we make boudin, but we also ordered a Turducken for Thanksgiving. What a wonderful cajun Turkey day we had! We were not only able to enjoy wonderful memories from our past, but we were able to share it with all of our northern family members. After making 25lbs of boudin, which turned out WONDERFUL, we only ended up with a few links each...everyone wanted some! Thank You so much for giving us a site that we can turn to for true cajun ecipes. Boudin became such a hit that I'm sure making it will become our new hobby...we have to meet the demands! We hope yall have a safe and Merry Christmas! PS Next year we are going to make our own Turducken !
