This is a delicious pie that makes its own crust.
Ingredients
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 - 1 tsp almond extract
Directions
Step 1
Peel and cube sweet potatoes. Place in water and cook until done. Drain potatoes and add rest of ingredients.
Step 2
Mix with a mixer until well blended.
Step 3
Pour into a greased 9 inch pie plate. No crust needed.
Step 4
Bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes. Yes 450 degrees.
