A simple recipe that packs in the memories.I can still remember the smell making these for my children right before school or as an afternoon snack.


  • Sliced Bread
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • butter


Step 1

Combine the sugar and cinnamon

Step 2

Lightly butter each slice of bread

Step 3

Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture over buttered bread

Step 4

Place under oven broiler with the oven door open.

Step 5

Watch carefully and remove as soon as the bread edges turn brown.
