- 1 can biscuits
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
Roll out each biscuit to 4" or 5" in diameter on a floured surface.
Drop a teaspoon of butter and of sugar into the center of each biscuit. Bring the four corners of the dough together in the center and pinch together tightly.
Bake according to the instructions on the biscuit can.
For the sauce place the flour, sugar and cloves in a saucepan. Take the 2 cups of milk and microwave for 5-6 minutes on high or until boiling (milk won't scorch in the microwave and this helps in making the sauce a little more user friendly). Remove from microwave and gradually pour in the saucepan with dry ingredients using a whisk to evenly blend the dry ingredients with the liquid. Cook over low heat until thick, stir constantly so as not to scorch the bottom of the pan. Once sauce is thick, pour over rolls in the same baking pan.
These are absolutely delectable warm, but they are really good the next day. They should be refrigerated and can be re-warmed in the microwave.
