A Cajun classic made with two favorites – shrimp and corn,
Ingredients
- 1 cup onions, chopped
 - 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
 - 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
 - 1/2 cup oil
 - 1 to 2 pounds shrimp, peeled & deveined
 - 1 small can tomato paste
 - 3 cups water
 - 2 (16 oz) cans whole corn
 - salt & pepper to taste or 2 teaspoon Season All more or less
 - 1 16oz can cream corn (optional)
 
Directions
Step 1
In a 4 quart stockpot, add the oil and cook onions, bell pepper, and green onion until tender. Add the tomato paste and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Add the corn, water, salt and pepper and cook on a medium heat approximately 30 minutes. Add shrimp and continue to cook until the shrimp are done approximately 10 minutes. Add more water if necessary.
