This is a cute dessert take on pizza. Makes a lovely centerpiece for your holiday celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 roll of cookie dough
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- Various sliced fruits like strawberries, kiwi, banana, peaches, etc.
- Fruit Fresh (a product that protects the fruit)
- Glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Directions
Step 1
Roll out the cookie dough on a round pizza pan and bake according to package directions.
Step 2
Mix the 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and the cream cheese and then spread on top of the baked cookie.
Step 3
Place your sliced fruit on top of the iced cookie and sprinkle with Fresh Fruit to keep the fruit from changing color.
Step 4
Glaze: Combine the 2 cups of powdered sugar, orange juice and cornstarch in a medium size pan and cook until thickened. Pour over the fruit. Allow to set and cool, then serve.
