Jalapeño Cornbread III

Need an idea for brunch, lunch, party or holiday? This works. Goes great with chili, too.

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp jalapeños, chopped
  • 1 box jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Step 1

Mix cornbread as directed on box.

Step 2

Fold in the onions, jalapeños, cheese and corn into the mix. Pour into a 2 quart casserole buttered dish.

Step 3

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
