Egg & Sausage Soufflé

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Hot Jimmy Dean Sausage
  • 4 slices white or wheat bread, cubed
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp mustard

Directions

Step 1

Cook sausage until crumbly and drain off grease.

Step 2

Layer the bread, sausage and cheese in a 9x13 baking dish.

Step 3

Combine in a separate bowl the eggs, milk, salt, and mustard. As the top layer, pour the egg mixture into the baking dish.

Step 4

Prepare the day before needed or cover and let set for 12 hours in refrigerator before cooking.

Step 5

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10 (more if smaller servings); particularly great for a brunch before or after services.
