Dean’s Tres Groovy Granola

Ingredients

  • 5 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup sunflower kernels
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
  • 1/2 jar wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup honey
  • various almonds and or sesame

Directions

Step 1

Dump oatmeal into a roasting pan.

Step 2

Pour the powdered milk, honey and oil on top of the oatmeal.

Step 3

Add the nuts/seeds and stir up.

Step 4

Spread evenly and bake in a low oven (250 to 275 degrees) for 35 to 45 minutes until lightly browned, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 5

Serve over cold milk.
