Crawfish Casserole I

A combination casserole of meat and seafood – from the oven to the table. This is one of the easiest no fail recipes for dressing. The flavor is incredible. As with any recipe that contains crawfish, shrimp maybe substituted, you could even mix the two and add crab meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound browned ground chuck
  • 1 pound crawfish tails
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large onin chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup each parsely and scallions (onion tops)
  • 1 small jar chopped pimentos
  • 1 beef bouillion cube
  • 1 cup raw long grain rice
  • Season to taste with black pepper, cayenne, onion and garlic powder

Directions

Step 1

After dissolving the beef bouillon cube in 1/4 cup hot water, mix all ingredients and pour into a 2 quart covered casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees in a preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours.
