Angel Pineapple Surprise

An easy, light and sweet dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 oz) package Jello Vanilla Flavor instant pudding & pie filling
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 prepared round angel food cake
  • Seasonal berries

Directions

Step 1

Mix dry pudding mix with pineapple (including the juice) in a medium bowl. Gently stir in cool whip, let stand 5 minutes.

Step 2

Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers. place bottom cake layer (cut side up) on serving plate.

Step 3

Spread l l/3 cups of the pudding mixture onto cake layer, cover with middle layer, top with remaining cake layer; spread remaining pudding mixture. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving.

Top with your favorite seasonal berries, such as strawberries, blueberries.
