Turtle Cake

This is a sweet dish that contains no actual turtles 😉

Ingredients

  • 1 box packaged German Chocolate Cake mix
  • 14 ounces package caramels
  • 1 stick butter 8oz.
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 4 packages package chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Follow package direction - prepare and mix cake. Pour one half of mixture Into a 12 x 9 pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

Step 2

While stirring constantly, melt the butter, milk, and caramels together then pour over pre-baked portion of the cake.

Step 3

Pour the rest of the cake mix on top and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of that layer.

Step 4

Bake 20 minutes longer; cool and enjoy.
