Sweet Pea Salad

Petit Pois is a common French term indicating petit “small or tiny” and pois “peas”. Sweet peas, or petit pois were a common side dish served with Sunday roast.

Ingredients

  • 2 (9 oz) cans petit pois
  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup low fat mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Holland onions, drained

Directions

Step 1

Boil eggs.

Step 2

Chop eggs and mix all ingredients together in glass bowl. Chill before serving.

Holland onions are pearl onions from Holland packed in sweet vinegar purchased off your grocer's shelf.
