Southern Praline Walnut Cake

I tested this recipe on friends for the holidays and they loved it. I have been asked repeatedly for this recipe. For a busy woman, this recipe is not only quick to put together, but it also taste great.

Ingredients

  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1 container Coconut Pecan Frosting
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup nuts (cook's choice is walnut)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9-10 inch bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

Combine the cake mix with the frosting, eggs, oil, water and 1/2 of the pecan/walnut pieces. Mix until combined.

Step 3

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 of the nuts in the prepared Bundt pan, then pour in the cake batter.

Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Enjoy!
