Reduced Sugar Fruit Salad

This reduced sugar fruit salad is probably a little bit healthier than its full-sugar counterpart.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can fruit cocktail in light syrup/Splenda
  • 1 small can light mandarin orange with Splenda
  • 2 regular cans light sliced peaches
  • 1 regular can light pears
  • 1/2 bag of red grapes cut in half
  • 2 large or 3 small apples
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 large box sugar free fat free vanilla pudding
  • 1 small bottle maraschino cherries cut in half

Directions

Step 1

Mix all the cans of fruit with juices in large bowl and add cut up fresh fruit except bananas. Open pack of vanilla pudding and sprinkle in slowly stirring constantly so it does not ball up. Add just a bit of cherry juice from cherries to add a little color. Once it’s mixed thoroughly, place in refrigerator overnight. Slice bananas and add to the dish one half hour before serving.
