Hot Crawfish Dip for Tart Shells or Crackers

Great dip for parties, weddings or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 lbs crawfish tails, peeled and chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic

Directions

Step 1

Sauté vegetables in butter until onions are clear.

Step 2

Add the soup, seafood, salt, peppers, garlic and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Mix flour and water in a separate cup unit mixed well. Add to the seafood mixture and cook until mixture thickens.

Step 4

Serve in shells or with crackers.
