Fruit Cake Cookies

Best Christmas cookies I have ever eaten! Don’t let the title fool you, they don’t taste like fruit cake, they just look like it.

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs dates, chopped
  • 8 oz candied cherries
  • 8 oz candied pineapple
  • 1 lbs pecans
  • 1 cup oleo or butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Step 1

Chop pecans, and cut pineapple and cherries into small pieces.

Step 2

Mix with rest of ingredients and drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 4

Makes 4 to 6 dozen depending on size of cookie.
