Creole Beef Vegetable Soup

A delicious, spicy soup with a delightful after taste!

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds of beef (any kind will do but I prefer sliced roast beef or prime rib)
  • 4 of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp white pepper
  • 2 cups of dry red wine
  • 1 - 12oz can of beer
  • 3 cups or 5 cups Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • 3 bay leaves
  • the juice of 3 lemons

Directions

Step 1

Put beef & vegetables in a large pot with water - Once boiled, add all other ingredients except for Frank's Red Hot, Bay Leaves & lemon juice.

Step 2

Reduce heat to simmer and simmer for 4 hours.

Step 3

Add other ingredients, tasting often to determine if more or less of anything is needed.

Remember that lemon juice will often counteract any flavor which is too strong.
Continue to simmer for another hour.
