Crab Dip I

An easy classic dip great for parties and weddings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Crab, Crawfish or Shrimp
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 bunch celery, chopped
  • 1-2 onions, chopped
  • 3 (10 oz) cans golden mushroom soup
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Sauté onion, bell pepper and celery in the butter.

Step 2

Once soft, add the crabmeat or shrimp. If using crawfish, simmer while frozen and cook until thawed. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Add mushroom soup and more seasoning if needed.

Step 4

Cook for 15 minutes more on medium, stirring often to prevent scorching. Serve with your favorite cracker.
