Chocolate No Bake Cookies

A great recipe suggestion to cook for friends and neighbors impacted by the floods when no there are no facilities to cook with. #ComfortFood.
Also great for young cooks and tea parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 stick butter - 8 tbsp
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups oats

Directions

Step 1

Mix sugar and cocoa, add milk and butter, bring to boil. Boil for exactly 1 minute.

Step 2

Remove from heat stir in peanut butter and vanilla, add oats and mix quickly until well blended.

Step 3

Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper.

Step 4

Makes 24 to 30 cookies
