Brenda’s Crawfish Fettuccine

A Cajun classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 chopped celery rib
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 pound crawfish
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 12 ounces fettuccine
  • Cajun Seasoning

Directions

Step 1

Sauté onions and celery in margarine, add flour gradually, then half and half and cheese heat until the cheese is melted.

Step 2

Add crawfish and simmer for approximately 25 minutes, stirring constantly. Season to taste.

Step 3

Add the boiled fettuccine into this mixture.

Step 4

Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
