Bourbon Balls

One of the more popular holiday favorites, great for parties, family dinners or gift giving.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup confectioners powdered sugar
  • 2 caps brown pecans or walnuts
  • 1/3 cup KARO corn syrup
  • Powdered sugar or Hershey’s cocoa for rolling

Directions

Step 1

Place the vanilla wafers in a Ziploc bag, using a rolling pin crush the cookies are use your hand and smash the cookies

Step 2

Combined the crushed wafers with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 3

Roll into small balls the size of a large grape. If the mixture gets too dry add a little more Karo.

Step 4

Roll the balls in powdered sugar or cocoa powder. Store in an airtight container until ready to eat. Makes a great gift.
