If you had an account with us before the upgrade, you will be able to login with your email address and password using the “Login“ link in the upper right hand corner of the page. If you've forgotten your password, just click the “Forgot Password“ link in the Login Panel and you'll be emailed instructions on how to reset your password. Alternatively, if the email that you use on Facebook or Google is the same email you used to sign up with our site, you can just login using Facebook or Google, instead of using a password.
For those of you who used the Recipe Box, your recipes will appear in our new Real Cajun Recipe Box as well. So then what's new, for real? So many things! You can now post recipes to Pinterest, and can even share your recipe box with others. Just click any of the icons under the Share Your Recipe Box heading on the Recipe Box Page. As for recipes, we're working on making them easier to find. We've already started with the focus on Holiday recipe ideas, and will soon have blog posts with menus for various occasions and even a “What's for Supper“ guide to give you ideas on what to cook tonight. Look on the lower-middle-left of the Home Page to find menu ideas for the next approaching holiday. You can now also find recipes by type, and we've got all the good Cajun types in there like Crawfish, Wild Game, and even Alligator. Looking for a recipe with any kind of seafood? Just click on the “All Seafood“ link to find recipes for shrimp, crab, crawfish, and fish. You can also use our new, improved search engine. Want to find crawfish recipes without onions? Just type crawfish -onions. Don't know how to spell etouffee? Just guess, and it will probably find it anyway. By using the top bar navigation, you can easily find our Most Popular recipes by Most Rated, Most Viewed and Most Popular in Recipe Boxes. You can also find the Cajun Classics, Recently Added Recipes, and an index of all of our recipes. Oh, and we also added a new section for Festivals around Acadiana under the “Lagniappe“ heading. Here, you can find information on the most popular Festivals around our area. In the future, we'll also be adding complementary recipes to those too. All About Acadiana Because our culture is so regional, we wanted to give people an idea of where the recipes are coming from, so if we have that information, we show you in a cute lil picture to the right of the recipe. For example, this is what shows on our Cajun Jambalaya recipe.
 Want to see all recipes from Vermilion Parish? Just click on the Vermilion Parish link shown beside the recipe. If you want to see all the recipes from Mark Boudreaux, just click on his name or Alphonse's face (not on the picture to the right, but on the actual Cajun Jambalaya recipe.) If you're an out-of-towner who doesn't know what Acadiana is, just click on the word Acadiana to find out more about more about the region where most Cajuns live. Or, you can just click here.
