Sandra's Party Cheese Ball

Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 2 cups Cracker Barrel or sharp natural cheddar
- 1 package jalapeño cheese spread
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp red pepper
- 3 cups pecans, chopped fine
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Allow all cheeses to reach room temperature, about 30 minutes.
- Combine cream cheese and cheddar until well blended.
- Add jalapeño cheese spread, garlic powder, lemon juice, and red pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Cover and chill for 1-2 hours until firm enough to shape.
- Shape into a ball and then roll into a log. Coat the outside of the log with chopped pecans.
- Serve with crackers.
Tips and Techniques
This cheese ball can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator. For best flavor, remove from refrigerator 20-30 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
