- 1 pound small red potatoes (1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter, well-scrubbed)
- 2 small onions, quartered

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine the melted butter, marjoram, salt, and black pepper in a shallow 1 1/2 quart to 2 quart baking dish.
- Add the potatoes and onions, turning to coat with the butter mixture.
