Praline Sauce Topping


This is a quick and easy topping for virtually any cake or bread pudding. Makes topping for a 9-inch square or 13×9 inch cake.


  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Swans Down Cake Flour
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans


Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Mix together all ingredients.

Step 3

Spread carefully, a small amount at a time, over hot cake in pan. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes. Cool and cut cake in pan.
