Fast, easy and tasty cookies that can be made without a trip to the grocery store to buy extra ingredients. This is a very easy, inexpensive recipe that goes a long way, especially when it is your turn to bring something to a bake sale. It also gets rid of the left over potato chips that are stale.

  • 2 cups softened margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips
  • 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar

Step 1

Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and vanilla, mix well.

Step 2

Add crushed potato chips gradually, mixing well after each addition.

Step 3

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
