Mushroom Sauce for Meats

This is the perfect mushroom sauce for the broiled flank recipe on this site. Of course, its uses are not limited to just this one dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms, fresh or canned
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp dried basil crushed
  • 2 tsp garlic salt

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, melt butter and add other ingredients. Bring to a boil.

Step 2

Simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Pour over flank steak or other dish and enjoy.
