A surprise snack or appetizer made with fresh figs – Great with cream cheese and crackers.
Pictures shown are half recipe.


  • 1 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 cups bell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1 cup jalapenos seeded and diced
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh fig sliced
  • 1 package Sure Jell
  • 1 tablespoon butter to prevent foaming
  • 6 cups sugar


Step 1

Combine all ingredients except the sugar. Mix the first six ingredients, heat on high to medium high until the mixture comes to a boil. Stir often to prevent sticking.- Add sugar all at once and return to a boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars Shake jars to distribute evenly.
