A surprise snack or appetizer made with fresh figs - Great with cream cheese and crackers.
Pictures shown are half recipe.
- 1 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 cups bell pepper seeded and diced
- 1 cup jalapenos seeded and diced
- 2 1/2 cups fresh fig sliced
- 1 package Sure Jell
- 1 tablespoon butter to prevent foaming
- 6 cups sugar
Combine all ingredients except the sugar. Makes the first six ingredients, heat on high to medium high until the mixture comes to a boil. Stir often to prevent sticking.- Add sugar all at once and return to a boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and pour and sterilized jars Shake jars to distribute evenly.
