Cajun Firecrackers


A really simple recipe. This makes a great Superbowl treat. Geaux Saints!


  • 1 1/3 cups Canola oil
  • 2 packages Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Powder Mix
  • 2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 box saltine crackers (4 sleeves)


Step 1

Remove crackers from sleeves and lay in a marinating Tupperware container standing up. All four sleeves will fit perfectly.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients together well. Pour over the crackers and close up the container.

Step 3

Flip the container every 15 minutes for 1 hour (a total of 4 times).

I like to add garlic powder to the mixture. Add as little or as much as you want.
