Angel Pineapple Surprise
An easy, light and sweet dessert made with angel food cake, crushed pineapple, vanilla pudding, and Cool Whip. Perfect for potlucks or summer gatherings when you need a crowd-pleasing treat that’s ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 oz) package Jello Vanilla Flavor instant pudding & pie filling
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 prepared round angel food cake
  • Seasonal berries

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Mix dry pudding mix with pineapple (including the juice) in a medium bowl. Gently stir in cool whip, let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers. Place bottom cake layer (cut side up) on serving plate.
  3. Spread 1 1/3 cups of the pudding mixture onto cake layer, cover with middle layer, top with remaining cake layer, and spread remaining pudding mixture. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
  4. Top with your favorite seasonal berries, such as strawberries or blueberries.
