One of the more popular holiday party candy. You could actually substitute the type of liquor used.

Ingredients
2 cups pecans toasted chopped fine 1 box vanilla wafers crushed fine
2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 cup corn syrup 1/2 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey

Directions
This is where one wishes they had a food processor (If you do not have one, borrow one!).

You can easily roast the pecans in the micowave. I put the pecans in the microwave 2 to 2 1/2 miuntes. Put in your food processor and process the pecans to a fine state like bread crumbs. Do the same thing with the vanilla wafers. No do not roast just put in food processor.

Combine all ingredients in a large glass bowl. Blend well with hands. I find putting on a pair of gloves makes the combining and forming the balls much easier.

Form one inch balls rolling the dough between your hands. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container.

Scale this recipe to servings.
