The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, with a length of 23.87 miles, is the world's longest bridge built entirely over water. In Louisiana, local governmental units, known elsewhere as counties, are called parishes. Originally they were church units set up by the Spanish provisional governor of Louisiana in 1669.

Ingredients
2 pounds ground turkey meat 2 cans 16 oz diced tomatoes undrained
2 cans 151/2 oz kidney beans undrained 2 cans 8 oz tomato sauce
1 large chopped onions 6 tbsp Chili Powder
1/4 tsp crushed garlic or 2 cloves 1/4 cup cooking sherry
1 large bell pepper 1 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp black pepper 1 can beef boullion
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 2 whole bay leaves
1/2 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp cumin
2 tbsp peanut butter cheese, onions, and tobasco

Directions
On a stovetop in a medium pan add a tablespoon of oil, brown the ground turkey meat and drain excess oil. To the turkey meat add all other ingredients except the peanut butter. Cook on a very low for 1 1/2 hours stirring occasionally. Add the peanut butter in the last half hour of cooking. Served topped with cheese, onions, and tobasco and a few crackers.
