Sweet potatoes any way you want to prepare them are one of the more traditional holiday dishes.
 
Ingredients
3 cups cooked sweet potatoes 1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt 1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon -----------------------------
The Crunch -----------------------------
1 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup flour
1/3 stick melted butter 1 cup chopped pecans
 
Directions
Mash the sweet potatoes and add a little juice from the can. Mix with the next six ingredients. Pour into a buttered casserole and bake for 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Combine the remaining ingredients and put on top of the sweet potato mixture. Continue to bake until crunchy 20 to 30 minutes depending on the heat of the oven.
