Yams, a Cajun favorite, makes this popular classic dish. As a young girl we would enjoy this wonderful dish often during hoilday time and of course at other times too. Now I make it for my family. One of their favorites! |

| 1 large can sweet potato or yams or 2 - 29 oz size |
3 tbsp butter |
| 1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 cup brown sugar |

| 1 tsp coconut flavor |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup melted butter |
1 cup chopped pecans |
| 1 cups crushed wheaties (more or less) |
1 tsp cinnamon |
|
| | | Directions | Mix and mash together in large bowl the potatoes, butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, egg and vanilla and coconut flavorings. Pour in a casserole dish.
