Directions
Prepare one recipe of sweet tart dough. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and place on a sheet pan. In a food processor puree the figs in a food processor or use a pastry blender to puree. Spread over the dough and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Cool slightly then cut into bars.
For another variation, add 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans to your fig puree. Cook for 40 minutes.
