While MawMaw was going thru her friend's recipe box she found this recipe and made them. Then invited that friend to dinner and served them. She was nice enough to say I made them as good as her. We both laughed and everyone enjoyed them. Make these as part of your family's Chritmas and holiday candies.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, sour cream, salt and bring to a boil. Add 1 tsp vanilla; remove from heat and stir until thick. Add 2 1/2 cups pecans, combine and then pour on a greased tray. As the pecans cool, pull them apart. Store in a closed container.
