This is moist melt in your mouth classic kind of cake. One of the best cakes for holiday meals. The aroma fills the house to create holiday memories or any other time meals.
 
Ingredients
1 box butter cake mix 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup Crisco Oil 1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 pint sour cream 4 eggs
2 tbsp sugar 3 tsp cinnamon
Cake Glaze 1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk 1 tsp vanilla
 
Directions
In a small bowl combine the 2 tablespoon sugar and 3 teaspoon cinnamon. Set aside. In a large glass bowl, combine the cake mix, sugar, oil, and sour cream. Add the eggs one at a time and beat after each addition. Add the pecans to the batter. In a well greased floured tube pan, pour 1/2 the batter. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Pour the remainder of the batter into the pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

Cake Glaze - combine the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour over the cake while it is still warm.
