Ingredients
1 pound fresh sausage
2 cans carrots
1/4 cup oil
Directions
In a heavy pot, add oil and cook the sausage and a small onion sliced on medium heat so the sausage can brown. Once it is brown, add just enough water to cover the meat. Add the carrots, season to taste and cover. Cook for 30 minutes and serve over cooked rice. Mash the carrots a little to give your gravy extra flavor and thickness.
