A great cany to spoil your grandchildren with or to fill their holiday candy stockings.

Ingredients
2 cups sugar 1/2 cup white karo syrup
1/2 cup water 2 cups pecan halves
1/2 stick butter 1 tbsp vanilla

Directions
In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, water and pecans. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture comes to a boil. Continue cooking until and stirring until the soft-ball stage. Remove from heat and add the margarine and the vanilla. Allow to cool a little. Then whip until creamy and lighter color. Drop by tablespoonsful on waxed paper.
