One of the best pound cakes you can bake. Great for Christmas or Holiday Parties, those wonderful family get togethers or lazy Saturday mornings. Add a cup of our great Southern Coffee and hospitality and you are one of the greatest chef's around.
Ingredients
1 box Deluxe Yellow Cake Mix
1 package vanilla instant pudding mix
1/3 cup of Crisco or substitute margarine
4 eggs
1 cup water
1/2 can condensed milk in the water
tube cake pan
Directions
In a large glass bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Then add the remaining wet ingredients.
Pour into the tube cake pan that has been rubbed with margarine and dusted with flour. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool for 30 minutes before eating. You could pour thawed frozen strawberries in syrup on the cut slices but honestly the taste is so good, who needs it!
