Answers.com defines Casserole as this - n. 1. A dish, usually of earthenware, glass, or cast iron, in which food is both baked and served. 1(a) Food prepared and served in such a dish. 2. Chemistry. A small-handled, deep porcelain crucible used for heating and evaporating. Maw-Maw defines it as easy baking usually very easy to prepare and more delicious to eat.
 
Ingredients
3 cups sliced potatoes 6 pork chops
1 can tomato soup 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
1 large onion sliced in rings salt and pepper to taste or any Cajun spice
 
Directions
Spray Pam or rub oil in the bottom of a 10x13 casserole dish. Season the chops to your liking and place them in the bottom of the pan. Top with onion rings then with the sliced potatoes arranging layers of the two. Season the layers with salt and pepper or your favorite spices. Pour the tomato soup and tomato sauce over the entire casserole evenly. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for two hours.
