An old time favorite made from poppy seeds using modern shortcuts. Did you know that there are some 900,000 poppy seeds to the pound? Wow qu'est hou là petit!
Ingredients
1 box Duncan Hines Butter Golden Cake Mix
3/4 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 carton 8 oz sour cream
1/4 cup poppy seed
Directions
Using mixer; mix all ingredients together at medium speed for about 2 minutes. Grease bundt pan very thick with shortening (no flour) and coat with granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Cool and serve with a cold glass or milk or freshly brewed coffee.
Look for poppy seeds in the spice section of your grocery store. It can also be easily found at most whole or natural food stores.
