From Eagle Brand, a perfect recipe for holidays and family fun. Note in the recipe box had a date of September 28, 1986. From Google's history, A record 23,000 runners start in a marathon race in Mexico City; maybe they were running to get a pecan pie bar.

| Ingredients |
| 2 cups unsifted flour |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) |
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans |
| 1 can 14oz Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk |
3 eggs beaten |
| 2 tbsp Realemon lemon juice |

| | | Directions | | Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium size bowl, combine the flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press mixture on bottom of an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish. Bake 15 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine pecans, condensed milk, eggs, lemon juice and pour over crust. Bake 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool. Cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature. |
