A quick drop cookie with minimal cooking time. They never go in the oven.
Ingredients
1/2 cup white corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 6 oz jar chunky peanut butter
3 cups cornflakes (works best) rice Krispies or Cherrios (Do not use sugar coated cereal
Directions
Combine the corn syrup and sugar in a medium sized heavy saucepan. Bring to a low boil; once you have reached the boiling stage, boil the mixture for three minutes.
Stir in the peanut butter then remove from heat. Stir in the cornflakes or cereal.
Drop by teaspoonsful on wax paper. Cool and Serve.
