Makes: 8 servings
Prep Time:30 minutes
Cook Time:35 minutes
Ready In:1 hour, 5 minutes
Peaches and Pralines together for a great holiday pie.
 
Ingredients
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust 1/2 cup sugar
4 cups sliced ripe peaches - frozen could be substituted 2 tbsp quick tapioca
1 tsp lemon juice 1/2 cup sifted flour
1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans  
 
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the peaches with the sugar, tapioca and lemon juice. Let set for 15 minutes. Meanwhile combine the flour, brown sugar, and pecans in a small bowl and cut in the butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle 1/3 of the pecan mixture in the bottom of the pie shell. Cover with the peaches; then sprinkle the remainder of the pecan mixture on top. Bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees and 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
