Potato Wedges are one of the easiest dishes to prepare. Baking makes this dish more heart healthy for calorie conscious Cajuns.
Ingredients
3 large red potatoes or sweet potatoes
Cajun seasonings
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take your potato or carrots and cut into small size wedges. Sprinkle with any type of Cajun seasoning such as Tony Chachere’s, Bruce's, or Season All. If none of these are available mix and sprinkle the potatoes with 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp cayenne and 1 tsp salt. You could also add 1/2 tsp thyme and 1/2 tsp oregano as a flavor option. After seasoning the potato, spray the potatoes with Pam.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes or until tender turning halfway in the cooking process. Load it up with ketchup and a little Tabasco and YUMMIE.......Great Side Dish
