Makes: 60 servings
Prep Time:20 minutes
Cook Time:10 minutes
Ready In:30 minutes
Another classic school house cookie.
 
Ingredients
2 cups shortening 1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs
1 tsp almond flavoring and vanilla flavor each 4 cups flour all-purpose
2 tsp baking soda 2 tsp cream of tarter
 
Directions
Cream in a large glass bowl, the shortening, sugar, eggs and flavorings.

Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture.

Chill the dough. Scoop cookies onto a baking pan using a No 40 scoop or its equivalent. Optional: You can flatten each cookie with a glass that has been dipped in sugar.

Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Scale this recipe to servings.
