Lemon-Broiled Chicken

Makes:
Prep Time:15 minutes
Cook Time:40 minutes
Ready In:55 minutes
 
Ingredients
3 tbsp lemon juice 3 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp cayene pepper 1 garlic clove diced
1 3 # broiler Fryer cut up 1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp oregano  
 
Directions
Make marinade first.
In large mixing bowl, mix lemon juice, oil, pepper, salt, oregano, and garlic.

Coat the chicken with the marinade.

Marinate covered in refrigerator overnight.

Broil the following day.
Broil skin side down, 6 inches from preheated broiler for 15 minutes basting occasionally with marinade. Turn over, baste, broil 15 minutes or until chicken is tender and juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork.
