These crisp delicate delights are a wonderful cookies to treat your favorite "honey" or "honeys". My "honies" to share will be my grandchildrens!
Ingredients
1/4 pound butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup flour
1 egg separated
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
In a large bowl cream butter and the 1/2 cup of sugar; add the yolk of the egg, flour, salt and vanilla. Roll thin on a floured board. Cut in small circles. Brush top with stiffly beaten egg. In a small bowl, mix the 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle in the center of the cookies. Bake in an ungreased cookie sheet in 370 degree oven for 10 minutes.
